Each year for our Christmas competition we set the staff a theme to base their decorations and activities around for the children!
This year's competition theme was a 'Traditional Christmas' and each of our sites interpreted this slightly differently which was great for the children (and judges!)
Our Hawthorn Avenue site, who were the overall winners, turned each room into a different country and told us the story of their own traditions! Father Christmas had a grotto in the garden and lots of parents and grandparents joined in the festive fun! We were even treated to a traditional English Christmas dinner!
Our Cowper Crescent site turned into a winter wonderland complete with Mr and Mrs Christmas, a gingerbread house and reindeer training camp!
The children enjoyed deciding whether grown ups were on the nice list or not and wrapping presents!
Our Turner Road site featured a festive fire place, carol singers and a Christmas sand pit treasure hunt!
Parents and grandparents helped decorate the courtyard garden Christmas tree and there was lots of lovely evidence of Nannas working in the community!
Well done to all our sites for some fantastic entries and special experiences for the children!
