Nannas Day Nurseries Hawthorn Avenue site were absolutely delighted to have received an overall Outstanding rating from it's regulatory body Ofsted on 16th March 2017.
The fantastic report, published on 11th April 2017 by Inspector Jemma Hudson praised the nursery in all areas: effectiveness of leadership and management; quality of teaching, learning and assessment; personal development, behaviour and welfare; outcomes for children.
The inspector observed the quality of teaching during activities indoors and outdoors and assessed the impact this has on children's learning. The inspector spoke with parents, staff and children during the inspection and completed a joint observation with the provider and the manager. The inspector held a meeting with the provider and the manager and looked at relevant documentation and evidence of the suitability of staff working in the nursery.

"Children are extremely well cared for in a very welcoming and nurturing environment. Consequently, they demonstrate high levels of confidence and self esteem. They develop exceptionally good relationships with their key person and show a strong sense of emotional security."

The team are all incredibly proud of this achievement which follows their recent Level 3 NDNA Quality award, the highest quality mark a nursery can obtain.
