The children were the stars of the show during Friday's amazing nativity plays!
Our 'First Nativity' plays took place Friday morning at our Hawthorn Avenue site and Friday afternoon at our Turner Road site.
All ages took part in the play from babies as singing stars to 2-3's as stable animals and did incredibly well.
Children have been working hard practising their lines and songs since August, telling the traditional nativity story of the birth of baby Jesus in a stable in Bethlehem.
Both plays were full of drama, tears (from both children and parents), forgotten lines, mis-cued songs, impromptu dancing and shouts of 'Happy Birthday' and stage deserters! But all in all a wonderful time was had by everyone.
As always both plays were incredibly well supported by the children's amazing parents and families without whom it wouldn't be possible to be the brilliant Nannas family that we are!
Thank you and Merry Christmas! Here's to 2017 and the next performance!
