Tuesday 16th August saw the judging of Nannas Day Nurseries annual Treasure Basket competition across both settings!
Staff were very creative this year and baskets were over-flowing with wonderful treasures which were on display in both hallways during the last week!
Nannas philosophy 'the natural place to play and learn' is embedded throughout the nurseries and this annual competition provides the rooms with refereshing, new natural, sensory rich objects to explore!
Items ranged from leather trinket boxes to bunches of keys, buttons sewn onto lengths of silky ribbon, shredded shammy leathers and mini jam jars filled with lentils!
The children joined the judges to decide on the winning Treasure Basket at each nursery!
The lucky winners, who each received an additional days annual leave along with a certificate were: Georgia Woodward (Turner Road site) and Kayleigh Mitchell (Hawthorn Avenue site)! Congratulations ladies!
The Treasure Baskets will now be put into each room for the children (the real winners) to play with and explore!
