Nannas Day Nurseries celebrates 20 years of providing outstanding childcare in Essex!

On Saturday 9th September, Nannas Day Nurseries held a huge party to celebrate their 20 year anniversary!

The celebrations, at our Hawthorn Avenue site, saw families past and present come together to celebrate this amazing achievement! Our first Colchester baby - Brecon, now aged 13 years, returned to see us with his 3 siblings and it was a pleasure to see the young man he has grown into!

There were many stalls, activities and games for families to participate in throughout the day including the very popular Teddy Tombola and Name the Teddy! Children were treated to some sweet treats from our cake stalls and ice-cream van!

There was a penalty shootout competition taking place, a welly toss, tin can alley, facepainting and glitter tattoos! Some local craft businesses also came along to sell their wares and the bouncy castles were as popular as ever! Children also delighted in riding the donkeys and meeting Batman and princesses Belle and Ariel, who also joined us on this special day!

Our pre-school children entertained us in the arena with a special dance that they have been busy practising with Dancing Becky over the last few months!

Everyone at Nannas would like to say a huge thank you to all who came along to support us and who continue to do so throughout the years. We delight in seeing many families return to us with their second, third and even fourth children and take enormous pride in helping them grow and develop! 20 years in the childcare sector is a huge achievement which we are incredibly proud of, here's to the next successful 20 years!
